Personal Information

I am currently enrolled in RMIT with student # s3921688 and at the same time working fulltime as a sales consultant in Telstra- Melbourne store. I am originally from Philippines, migrated here in Australia 10 years ago together with my lovely wife who works as a chef and my 12 year old son. Our native language is Filipino which we insist of teaching our son to learn since he technically grew up and started school here. We as a family is a basketball fanatics, we watch and follow NBA games and my son also started to play Rep basketball.

Interest in IT

My interest in IT started because of my passion with latest gadgets such as mobile device and wearables. Perhaps my current job in telecom open up my curiosity even further. IT is the future as well as it is very much needed today. During the first hit of pandemic it made me realized how important IT is to the world from home learning / working from home to the needed technology used for tracing cases and whole IT needs in dealing with this situations.

My Ideal Job

Head of Technology and Operations

The key tasks for this job will include, but not be limited to: Performing agronomic management of mushroom growing/harvesting system trials, data collection, data compilation and report writing Liaising with the internal/external stakeholders including the engineers, site co-ordinators, co-operators and research partners on the issues relating to the newly implemented automated harvest systems and ensuring best practice management of trial works Conducting and monitoring technical trial activities to configure complementary systems/methodology to optimise the effectiveness of the new automated harvest systems, this includes working with partnering organisation’s representative and engineers Managing field activities relating to mushroom production and quality controls including the assessment of automated systems’ performance to ensure the optimal mushroom growing conditions are retained Identifying and mitigating risks to production and implement associated strategies Managing the resolution of product issues Prepare and educate clients on how to utilise information and investigation stages/innovation Build, develop and maintain dashboards including data models and performance metrics that provide valuable insights and support key information to business.

My Project Idea

I love to travel. But with this current situation this passion has been set aside. But with the vaccination coming full force around the world, there might be a ray of hope for travellers. My project idea is to create a worldwide accredited apps / program that will certify a user if he is fully vaccinated. A program that will link the user’s real vaccination information to get the accreditation for validity that can be used and endorsed globally.
